Mrs. Heather Anderson, Secretary General of the US Federation of UNESCO Clubs and Associations. The Chairman, Mr. Guy Djoken launched the 2026 UNECO Club Worldwide Youth Multimedia Competition, this is our 12th year. We are thrilled to announce that we are launching January 5th. with our new website and opportunities for youth. This year is with a new energy, with a dynamic year of youth organizers. !7 Sustainable Goals and three project areas this year, Robotics/AI, Local Project and Storytelling. This year the contest is for youth ages 10-14, 15-18, 19-22.

Winners of this competition have will win a scholarship to attend the IMUN Summer Camp, hosted by UNESCO Center for Peace. The International Model United Nations (IMUN)/STEM program offers students the chance to work together with students from other countries on different topics and projects. This is a great opportunity to learn about working in a group setting, developing tolerance for all races and cultures, as well as discovering individual strengths in areas like cybernetics, software development, hydroponic, film making, alternative energy technologies. UCP Local Project activities will allow students to acquire abilities, knowledge and experience in organizational management, business administration, time management, communication and negotiating skills, budgeting, fundraising, pitching and marketing, among others. This contest offers even more: it allows youth to share their voice, fostering positive changemakers and internation goodwill.

The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) was created to foster peace and security by encouraging collaboration among nations in education, science, culture, and communication. Its mission is to advance human rights, sustainable development, and global understanding by facilitating dialogue, sharing knowledge, and protecting cultural and natural heritage. UNESCO operates under the principle that peace begins in the minds of people, emphasizing education, cultural diversity, and freedom of expression.
