Internet Communications Delivered to Remote Wilderness Area for UNESCO Program of Internet Education for Youth

 Setting up one of many relay stations necessary to bring internet service to a remote wilderness location. |

 For 90% of the students, this UNESCO program provided their first opportunity to learn about the internet and email. |
"It was quite a challenge to setup the relay stations necessary to enable internet service at the 2001 Atlantykron Summer Academy of Learning, but well worth it. Hundreds of youth benefited from the project with more than 90% of them having their first internet experience and email training at the Academy. This type of educational project develops a fundamental skill that the youth will need to succeed in their adult lives and careers. We are very pleased we could enable this project," said World Genesis Foundation President and CEO David Lewis Anderson.
Based on results of this years project the World Genesis Foundation will continue to develop relationships with additional telecommunications companies to enable continued support for future editions of this UNESCO Program.
