"I am honored to receive this nomination from the Romanian government. Our success in expanding youth educational programs in the sciences and many other areas has only been possible through the shared vision and strong partnership we share with the Minister of Youth and Sports and the Romanian government. There are still many challenges and opportunities in front of us to create new opportunities and reach more youth in schools, universities and educational programs and I continue to look forward to building upon our successes together. As our next step, we are already planning a rapid expansion of new programs and educational materials in the important fields of robotics, astronomy, astrophysics, and alternative energy in the next eighteen months," said David Lewis Anderson, President and CEO of the World Genesis Foundation.
The nomination was presented to Dr. David Lewis Anderson by Vice General Secretary Anton Merschi at the headquarters of the Ministry of Youth and Sports in Romania.
The World Genesis Foundation was founded on November 30, 1999 and is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization dedicated to a vision and mission to "leave no child without hope for the future." Headquartered in Santa Fe, NM USA, the foundation supports activities worldwide to create educational, scientific and cultural opportunities for youth with a special focus in areas of the world where these opportunities are limited or do not exist.
