"This year's programs conducted by the Romanian Association for Sports and Culture, under the leadership of Mihnea Muraru-Mandrea, were quite interesting. Competitions in the areas of sports, puzzles, raft building and much more were offered that required youth to work together developing teamwork, creative thinking, leadership, critical reasoning and problem solving skills. Mihnea's team did a remarkable job inspiring the youth who developed many important life skills mixed with fun and excitement," said World Genesis Foundation President and CEO, David Lewis Anderson.
In the future the two organizations plan to work together to bring more international involvement into the sports programs and to integrate them more closely with other projects and areas of study at the Academy.
The World Genesis Foundation was founded on November 30, 1999 and is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization dedicated to a vision and mission to "leave no child without hope for the future." Headquartered in Santa Fe, NM USA, the foundation supports activities worldwide to create educational, scientific and cultural opportunities for youth with a special focus in areas of the world where these opportunities are limited or do not exist.
