Romanian Association for Sports and Culture Team with World Genesis Foundation to Develop New Projects for UNESCO

"It was a great pleasure to see the reaction of the youth to the many new sports programs at this year's UNESCO Academy. Mihnea Muraru-Mandrea, President of the Romanian Association for Sports and Culture, introduced multiple new programs in logic, problem solving, critical thinking and teamwork to the youth while also introducing two new sports programs. One of the new programs was Yoga instruction provided by Mrs. Karen Poon. The other new program was the launch of a new kickboxing program being coordinated with the United States Kickboxing Association. I cannot express in words how rewarding it was to see how active the youth were in the sports programs this year and to see the cultural exchanges that came with more international participation," said David Lewis Anderson, President and CEO of the World Genesis Foundation.
The USKBA team visit to Romania and the Academy was also used as an opportunity to further develop relationships and cooperation between Romanian and United States Kickboxing and MMA Associations. The World Genesis Foundation hopes this will strengthen international relationships in the sport and result in even more new opportunities for new youth programs in the future.
The World Genesis Foundation was founded on November 30, 1999 and is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization dedicated to a vision and mission to "leave no child without hope for the future." Headquartered in Santa Fe, NM USA, the foundation supports activities worldwide to create educational, scientific and cultural opportunities for youth with a special focus in areas of the world where these opportunities are limited or do not exist.
