FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Cultural Compass Project of Singapore and World Genesis Foundation Partner for 2007 UNESCO Program
Rochester,
New York, USA - May 15, 2007
The World Genesis Foundation announced plans for an
international collaboration to bring cultural awareness
education to youth at a UNESCO youth program in Romania.
"As Romania now enters the European Union and more global companies enter Romania the youth here are faced with many new challenges in a global cross-cultural workplace. We are lucky this year that Chan Chow Wah, a cultural anthropologist with years of experience at Fortune 100 companies, will be joining us. Chan Chow Wah will be coordinating other guests from multiple nations to lead the a wide range of instruction for the youth in cultural awareness, understanding and relativism. It is a very important program coming at exactly the right time to help the youth prepare for their future," said World Genesis Foundation President and CEO, David Lewis Anderson.
As part of the upcoming program Chan Chow Wah is also coordinating with Maria Ciochina, a team leader from the Republic of Moldova, to plan a series of special classes on Chinese culture as part of the overall program.
The World Genesis Foundation was founded on November 30, 1999 and is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization dedicated to a vision and mission to "leave no child without hope for the future." Headquartered in Santa Fe, NM USA, the foundation supports activities worldwide to create educational, scientific and cultural opportunities for youth with a special focus in areas of the world where these opportunities are limited or do not exist.
