FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
American Author Peter Moon Attends UNESCO Youth Project as Special Guest Instructor in Writing and Science Programs
Rochester,
New York, USA - August 19, 2009
The World Genesis Foundation announced today a statement or
recognition and gratitude to American author Peter Moon who
volunteered and travelled to Romania to work with youth in an
international youth program operated under the auspices of
UNESCO.
"It was a privilege and pleasure to have Mr. Moon joining our program again this year. Peter has taken a great interest in Romanian culture and history and was active this year as an instructor in the Academy's communications and science programs. Peter's participation also sparked and unexpected interest from the youth in Qigong, the internal Chinese meditative practice that often uses slow graceful movements and controlled breathing techniques to promote the circulation of qi within the human body, and enhance a practitioner's overall health. Peter has brought an interesting new depth to the program and we are very grateful for all he has done for the youth," said Sorin Repanovici, Vice President of the World Genesis Foundation.
Mr. Moon has been in discussion with the World Genesis Foundation about participation in the 2010 Academy discussing ideas and plans to introduce several new projects for the youth.
The World Genesis Foundation was founded on November 30, 1999 and is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization dedicated to a vision and mission to "leave no child without hope for the future." Headquartered in Santa Fe, NM USA, the foundation supports activities worldwide to create educational, scientific and cultural opportunities for youth with a special focus in areas of the world where these opportunities are limited or do not exist.
