"Dr. Belbruno has been recognized as one of the World's Top 10 Most Influential Space Thinkers. His theories and real world achievements in Celestial Mechanics, Dynamical Systems, Astrodynamics, and Dynamical
Astronomy are remarkable. Dr. Belbruno participated in last year's UNESCO program presenting his weak stability boundary theory, an approach to travel in space by finding low energy pathways using unstable chaos and
dynamical systems. His presentation was very inspirational, mixing aspects of leading-edge science and art with very important life lessons for the youth. We are very fortunate and grateful to Dr. Belbruno for volunteering his support once again to the youth and managers of this program," said Mary Ann Martini, Senior Director of the World Genesis Foundation.
"Dr. Belbruno will be joining the program via video conference to present a very interesting program this year on Lasers: In Space and On Earth. He will be speaking to an audience of more than 500 international participants, guests and instructors in our evening amphitheatre programs in August," said Heather Caton, Senior Director of the World Genesis Foundation and International Guest Coordinator for this year's program.
The World Genesis Foundation was founded on November 30, 1999 and is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization dedicated to a vision and mission to "leave no child without hope for the future." Headquartered in Santa Fe, NM USA, the foundation supports activities worldwide to create educational, scientific and cultural opportunities for youth with a special focus in areas of the world where these opportunities are limited or do not exist.
