Dan Lucas' list of professional kickboxing achievements is only exceeded by his commitment to youth, training and education.

The World Genesis Foundation announced today that World Champion Kickboxer, Dan "The Lizard" Lucas, will be traveling to Romania to manage a Kickboxing program as part of a UNESCO Youth Academy this summer.

"It is an honor and privilege to have Dan Lucas joining our program this summer. Dan is not just a world-champion professional kickboxer, but in our experience he is also a world-champion teacher of youth," said Heather Caton, Senior Director of the World Genesis Foundation. "Dan worked with us leading very successful sports projects in 2006 and 2007 for the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). As a teacher Dan always seems to find a way to motivate, inspire and teach youth, not just kickboxing but also valuable lessons in life. His kickboxing classes were a highlight of programs in Europe in 2006 and 2007 and we are very excited he is joining us again in 2010."

Dan Lucas will be managing the Kickboxing Academy this August as part of an overall sports program led by Mihnea Muraru-Mandrea, President of the Romanian Association for Sports and Culture. Joining Dan will be Quentin Canty-Marozzi, his student and assistant instructor for the program. The event is part of the Atlantykron Summer Academy of Learning operated under the auspices of UNESCO in Capidava, Romania.
