Naftaly Ngugi of South Africa Accepts Invitation to Attend Atlantykron 2012 UNESCO Youth Academy in Romania

World Genesis Foundation is pleased to announce that Naftaly
Ngugi, coordinator of a youth camp in South Africa, will be
joining the Atlantykron Summer Academy in August of 2012.
Naftaly's successes include more than 20 years with Outward Bound in Kenya and South Africa and more than 10 years creating and managing Camp Bambanani, whose mission is to inspire children and youth to be confident in their abilities to make healthy personal choices and a positive contribution to their communities by rekindling the spirit of joy, curiosity and creativity inherent in childhood, teaching and empowering, and fostering resilience and healthy coping skills. Naftaly Ngugi was also the recipient of the Life Time of Hope Award in 2011. This award is dedicated to recognize those who are making a difference and creating opportunity in the lives of youth.
“We are excited that Naftaly will be joining the academy this year. It is exciting to when different parts of the world can come together to learn and share this experience,” said Sorin Repanovici, Atlantykron coordinator and co-founder of World genesis Foundation. Atlantykron academy brings together world leading experts, the latest learning tools and technologies, and youth from many countries.
This combination of teaching, learning and living in a natural and wild environment creates an educational and life experience like no other. Many programs for education and fun are offered across the major areas of Science, Creative Writing and Communication, Art, Sports, Culture, Music and more. These classes are designed to focus on the challenges and opportunities most affecting the shape of our world today and tomorrow.
