First Lady Youth Infusion Summit

The World Genesis Foundation had the opportunity to be a sponsor and attend the First Lady’s Youth Infusion Summit: Uniting Generations Together as One: on June 29^th and 30^th.

This historic and landmark event designed by The UNESCO Center for Peace provided global exposure for 150 individuals between the ages of 16 – 25 years who are in various school districts, colleges or businesses to serve as global innovators to implement their business solutions or ideas in Africa related to the areas of health, poverty and development, Agriculture, Energy and Water resources, Media, Arts and Entertainment and Education.

Representing the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, the UNESCO Center for Peace works to create the conditions for dialogue among civilizations, cultures and peoples, based upon respect for commonly shared values. The vision for The First Ladies Youth Infusion Summit is to INFUSE the wisdom and knowledge of two generations. The summit included the attendance of the Personal Representative of the First Lady of Gabon Eveline Accrombessi, Ghana Ambassador to the U.S. Daniel Ohene, First Lady of Ghana Ernestina Naadu Mills, First Lady of Nigeria Patience Jonathan, and Nigerian Ambassador to the U.S. Adebowale Ibidapo Adefuye.

“This summit was such a success with the bridging of minds and created wonderful opportunities that will continue to grow and build," said Heather Caton MSW, President and CEO of World Genesis Foundation.
