Microsoft Brings Educational Programs and New Technology to Atlantykron UNESCO Youth Academy in Romania

The World Genesis Foundation announced today its gratitude for
the great support from Microsoft in the Atlantykron 2012
UNESCO Summer Academy for youth. The Academy is held anually on an island on the Danube
River near the village and ancient Roman ruins of Capidava in
Romania.
"Guests and educational materials from Microsoft stimulated discussions and the exploration of the 'World of Tomorrow' with the youth," said World Genesis Foundation Vice President and Academy coordinator, Sorin Repanovici. The information presented by Microsoft painted a picture of new technology on the horizon and well as stretched the imagination of the youth to imagine and explore our future world and the challenges and possibilities that could come."
Atlantykron is a UNESCO Summer Academy of learning held for 10 days each summer and typically includes participation from at least 500 students, teachers and organizers who volunteer their time to benfit the youth.
The World Genesis Foundation is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization that was founded on November 30, 1999 and is dedicated to a vision and mission to "leave no child without hope for the future." Headquartered in Santa Fe, NM USA, the foundation supports activities worldwide to create educational, scientific and cultural opportunities for youth with a special focus in areas of the world where these opportunities are limited or do not exist.
