The Atlantykron Summer Academy of Learning announced its new
2013 Academy theme, "Windows into the Future : Ferestre catre
Viitor." The Academy is held on an island on the Danube
River near the village and ancient Roman ruins of Capidava in
Romania from August 2-11 2013,
The Academy will bring together nearly 500 students volunteers, teachers and experts in their field from around the world. This unique program is held in a nature setting yet the students will participate in, learn and explore some of the most advanced and important issues facing human society in the areas of Science, Culture, Art, Communication and so much more. “We are excited about the theme this year and the programs that will explore disciplines and subjects through the windows into the future,” stated Sorin Repanovici, Vice President of the World Genesis Foundation and Coordinator of Atlantykron Summer Academy of Learning.
The World Genesis Foundation is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization that was founded on November 30, 1999 and is dedicated to a vision and mission to "leave no child without hope for the future." Headquartered in Santa Fe, NM USA, the foundation supports activities worldwide to create educational, scientific and cultural opportunities for youth with a special focus in areas of the world where these opportunities are limited or do not exist.
