It will have been just about one year to the date since Mars Curiosity landed on Mars in the beginning of August 2012. And once again, the World Genesis Foundation is pleased to have NASA Systems Engineer, Ravi Prakash, as a returning virtual guest at Atlantykron Summer Academy of Learning 2013, one year later.

In 2012 Ravi Prakash and Anthony Scodary were virtual guests sharing their experience and answering questions about the landing of Mars Curiosity; it was a high point of the program. So what has the year brought for Mars Curiosity; the unexpected joys, the challenges, the discoveries?

The students, teachers and organizers are all looking forward to connecting once again with Ravi to learn more. “Connecting with Ravi will be an exciting part of this year’s Academy. I am sure the youth will have many questions for Ravi. He is a great friend and we look forward to connecting with him this year,” said Sorin Repanovici, World Genesis Foundation Vice President and coordinator of Atlantykron Summer Academy of Learning.

The World Genesis Foundation is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization that was founded on November 30, 1999 and is dedicated to a vision and mission to "leave no child without hope for the future." Headquartered in Santa Fe, NM USA, the foundation supports activities worldwide to create educational, scientific and cultural opportunities for youth with a special focus in areas of the world where these opportunities are limited or do not exist.
