These ladies work with some great organizations. World Council of Peoples for the United Nations (WCPUN) is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to facilitating partnerships across sectors internationally that promote awareness and implementation of the United Nations’ goals. Through publications, workshops, dialogues, other educational, outreach-oriented events, projects and programs, WCPUN provides alternative think spaces to enable visionary people and organizations of diverse disciplines and expertise to connect and collaborate. Shamina is also the co-founder of “what moves you?, “an organization that creates awareness campaigns to highlight the relevance of global issues in people’s lives and inspire action for social change. The Tent Project is dedicated to assist and encourage all who enter to love and embrace humanity and to share their unique gifts with others through learning, teaching, giving, and healing. The Tent Project was featured at the 61st Annual DPI/NGO Conference at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris. There was truly a lot of talent at the table. "It is wonderful to meet and connect with such hard working and passionate individuals, I could tell that everything they did truly came from a place of caring,” said Heather Caton MSW, President and CEO of World Genesis Foundation.
The World Genesis Foundation is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that was founded on November 30, 1999 and is dedicated to a vision and mission to "leave no child without hope for the future." Headquartered in Santa Fe, NM USA, the foundation supports activities worldwide to create educational, scientific and cultural opportunities for youth with a special focus in areas of the world where these opportunities are limited or do not exist.
