Atlantykron UNESCO Summer Academy for Learning is takes place on an island, wild most of the year, in the middle of the Danube near the village and the ancient ruins of Capidava, Romania. This island turns into a special academy for ten days every summer. Youth, parents, teachers, actors, writers, scientists, artist and other professionals from around the world visit the island to participate in discussions, workshops and activities. In these ten days, young people meet, discuss and learn together truly unique experience.
So what does it mean to “Innovate like Edison?” Edison’s ability to manifest his goals was predicated on his intuitive understanding of how the creative mind functions. You can access and apply the same principles that he did; to get started consider this simple acronym that expresses essential elements of effective goal-setting: SMART. How do you integrate the emotional and rational elements in goal-setting? The secret is to invoke a second acronym: EDISON. EDISON makes the SMART part come to life.
