Top 10 Winners of the Worldwide UNESCO Clubs Youth Multimedia Competition Recognized by World Federation

World Genesis Foundation Headquarters
On March 7-12, 2014, the U.S. Federation of UNESCO Clubs
hosted over 200 delegates for the WFUCA Conference. These days
at the conference reminded us about the spirit of creativity
that thrives in all of us-- that passion to change the world
guided by the ideals of UNESCO through education, science, and
culture.
A special ceremony on was held on March 8th 2014 at the 34th World Federation of UNESCO Clubs, Centers & Associations (WFUCA) Executive Board Meeting to be held at the Hilton Garden Inn New York. The ceremony included prizes and recognition for the top 10 laureates of the UNESCO Clubs worldwide Multimedia Youth Competition on “The Future We Want”. Winners of the competition were able to come, showcase their work and gain opportunities for mentorship and networking. Heather Caton, organizer of the competition, among others was able to be there to greet the winners and their families and present prizes and recognition with members of WFUCA, USFUCA and community officials. “We give thanks to our main sponsors, the Gold Tai Yuen Group,the University of Tsukuba and to all the volunteers who worked day and night to ensure the success of the conference,” said Guy Djoken, President of USFUCA.
USFUCA asked youth to share their voice and answer the question: “If you could do one thing to change the world, what would it be? Why and How? The response was amazing. From essays to videos, art work, photography and presentations, we had over 470 applications come in from 70 countries around the world. Youth shared their thoughts, ideas and plans for being a positive change maker in our world.
