2014 Winner of the "Lifetime of Hope" Award is Announced by the World Genesis Foundation

World Genesis Foundation congratulates the 2014 Lifetime of Hope award winner to Mr. Alexandru Mironov. Candidates are chosen and voted on once a year after to receive this award. The Lifetime of Hope Award began in 2010 with the Rosner family and with support of World Genesis Foundation. To be nominated a candidate must have over 20 years of experience creating opportunity for youth.
Alexandru Mironov is a writer and journalist from Romania. Mr. Mironov began StiintasiTehnica.com dedicated to science and technology and the sharing of information and news. His work is not only science fiction but also in Romanian Radio and Television. He is the producer of the weekly program " Science and imagination "on TVR 1. He has published 16 books and is the author of nearly 1,000 articles with popular science. He held various positions in the editors of Science and Technology (an Honorary Director), now part of the editorial board of the journal editorial and signing articles under the title "Live with NASA." Performs weekly show "Open Book" at the station TVRM.
Mr. Mironov continues to create opportunity for youth. He served as the Minister for Youth and Sport in 1993-1996 and is the senior Director for international Relations for the World Genesis Foundation. He is the founding father of Atlantykron Summer Academy of Learning that will be celebrating its 25 anniversary this summer in Capidava Romania. “We congratulate Alexandru Mironov in his work and for receiving this award,” said Sorin Repanovici, President in Europe of World Genesis Foundation & Co-Founder of World Genesis Foundation.
