So what is “The Amazing you?” The Amazing You, a new film produced by Dr. Dragos, features interviews from. Ed Hoffman, NASA’s chief knowledge officer, Scott Hubbard, former director of NASA’s Ames Research Center, Charles Pellerin, former director of astrophysics at NASA, Robert Richards, co-founder of the International Space University and Google X-Prize competitors Odyssey Moon Ltd. and Moon Express, Inc. and Dumitru Prunariu, scientific president of the Romanian Space Agency. They talk about the world’s future technologically, scientifically, culturally and where you and your passions might fit into it.
The film reached over 500 youth and participants, worldwide who attend the summer camps. This film shares a common message from diverse perspectives and speaks right to your heart. You will feel encouraged to seek your truth and follow a path that resonates with who you are. When you do what you love and it comes from a true place, you can only have success,” Said Heather, President of World Genesis Foundation.
Keeping in line with the ideals of UNESCO, Atlantykron Summer Academy and the IMUN Summer Camp greatly promotes UNESCO core goals to contribute to the creation of sustainable development and intercultural dialogue by promoting collaboration among nations through education, science, culture and communication. The IMUN UNESCO Center for Peace Summer Camp program in the Washington, DC metro area, gathers together students from around the globe. Over the course of two weeks, student-delegates learn from their peers about other cultures, societies and perspectives, and also share their own unique views. They undertake workshops, go on field trips to important landmarks in the DC metro area and New York City.
The film was chosen as an UNESCO OFFICIAL SELECTION for the global youth forums, Washington 2015, Nominated in TOP 10 MOVIES THAT CAN CHANGE THE WORLD, Los Angeles, 2014, received the GLOBAL AWARD FOR EDUCATION & Social Change, Los Angeles 2014 and is available in 15 languages after only a few months by volunteers.
