FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Heather Caton Appointed as Senior Director for the World Genesis Foundation
Rochester,
New York, USA - November 19, 2008
The World Genesis Foundation announced today the appointment
of Heather Caton as Senior Director to the organization.
"Since her first visit as a special guest to one of our projects Heather simply jumped in and started running and she hasn't looked back. In just three years she has brought remarkable changes and new energy into multiple UNESCO and World Genesis Foundation projects and programs. Her work with youth and other instructors has been both inspirational and effective in creating new hope and opportunities for youth in projects around the world. It is a real privilege that Heather will be officially joining our management team," said World Genesis Foundation President and CEO, David Lewis Anderson.
In her new role Heather will begin participating in planning activities with the World Genesis Foundation board members and also begin development for the launch of a new fundraising initiative called HopeMart to be introduced later this year.
The World Genesis Foundation was founded on November 30, 1999 and is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization dedicated to a vision and mission to "leave no child without hope for the future." Headquartered in Santa Fe, NM USA, the foundation supports activities worldwide to create educational, scientific and cultural opportunities for youth with a special focus in areas of the world where these opportunities are limited or do not exist.
